Do they think we are that stupid that we cannot read the top of our own lenses? I waited two weeks for them to "verify my prescription" for my own protection! Thanks but I am a big boy and can do it myself. Cancelled the order - NEVER EVER AGAIN!!

This was the worst customer service I ever had. Got no contact, so on the day it should have been delivered, I called them. There was some kind of error in the Rx. Clerk at doctor's in error faxed back denial. Doctor saw error and corrected it and approved order. Was told it was cancelled, to later find out it was not. Manager from doctor's called them to get everything straightened out and even called with the the customer service reps name. Then I get a confirmation for my order, with only part of it being processed. So again I call and am told the manager denied part of my Rx. Again I call doctor's office. Tech calls them again approves Rx. She calls me back and tells me everything is processed and they will be shipping shortly. I never get confirmation email so I call back again. I am told they sent an email telling me that the second half of my order was cancelled, but it I want to order it they have the Rx. Needless to say, if I had not called I never would have gotten my additional order processed. The worst customer service I have ever had. I told there rep. I will never, ever shop with them again. The trouble was not worth the prices.

BE AWARE!!!!! It is not Vision Direct's policy to do any more than the following: (1) Fax your doctor to verify Rx (2) Wait 8 business hours (3) Fill order even if not verified by your Dr If Vision Direct's fax to your Dr. to verify your Rx is not received, and/or not verified by your Dr, they don't care. They will fill it without the doctor's verification - claiming that the doctor's lack of response is a "passive verification", and that the law allows them to do this as long as they have waited 8 hours! Even though their site claims they will verify your Rx, this is as far as it goes, folks. Unless you really really know that your Rx entered on your order is 100% correct, BE AWARE. It took me three phone calls to Vision Direct and numerous trips to my doctor to get no more than a 50% DISCOUNT ON THE NEXT ORDER "to correct the problem". MY DOCTOR NEVER RECEIVED THEIR FAX!!! Their CS folks are very aware that their policy is to simply ship out the Rxs and charge you as quickly as possible. It took no time for anyone involved to immediately read their printed response and READ ALOUD "we accept no blame" and 3 calls to move up to a 50% discount for simply buying more from them.

I see alot of negative reviews slamming them so I wanted to relate a positive experience. I ordered from them once before with no hassle, and did so again today because they were the lowest price. Seems like they were shipped pretty quickly (within week or so as best I remember) with no problems. I will see how this time goes, dont expect any problems. I am emailing the DR perscription (Im pretty sure I emailed or faxed it last time).

These people at customer service were rude and couldn't care less about your business. Their promises are totally out to llunch. They are a terrible company to deal with and i will never use them again and i will certainly make others aware of their total disregard for customer service. Take your business elsewhere the few dollars you save from them are not worth the hassle. Also tracking is not possible cause they mail it and you have absolutely no way of tracking the package. Again go somewhere else because they are interested in your money not your business.

I had a horrible experience with VisionDirect, they took my money, 3 weeks later I still did not have my contact lenses. I found out they were waiting for my prescription, without informing me! Stay away from this site.

I made my order 2 weeks ago and I still have not recieved anything! I had to call to get status and was told that they are still on order. I wish that they would let you know that sooner instead of having to call to find out what is going on!!! I will not order from here again.

VisionDirect totally dropped the ball. Their customer service is RUDE and frustrating and far from reliable. I needed my order rushed (and ordered 3 day shipping). I emailed the address they told me to contact and never received a human reply. I called and they vere very RUDE and said if I had contacted them earlier they would have been able to help. I do NOT recommend this company at all.

I was EXTREMELY reluctant to order from them based on many of the reviews I read here. They did, however, have the best price in terms of contacts. It was incredibly low to the point that I believed "this can't be for real". I did more research and found others who were reluctant to order, did and were happy so I decided to go ahead. I must say this is one of the best buying experiences of my life. I got a years supply of contacts for $165 (1800CONTACT wanted double that and when I emailed them for a price match, they blew me off). Order placed Saturday night. Contacts received Thursday. I will definitely use them again.

This was the first time I've ordered contacts online. My doctor's office never stocks the prescription my daughter needs and I have to wait 10-14 days, plus the price is so much higher than the online stores. So I tried Vision Direct. I was leary because of some of the negative reviews, but they seemed the most affordable so I gave them a shot. I ordered the contacts Thursday and got them Monday. I couldn't believe it was so quick! It was quicker and cheaper than my eye doctor. I'll definately use Vision Direct again.

I have ordered contacts from Vision Direct twice and both times I have been very satisfied. The first time it only took two weeks for me to receive the contacts but the second time it took almost a month. I can't really blame them for the slow shipping though because its probably the Canadian customs, the nice thing about being in Canada though is that they don't need to verify your prescription, so I could order what ever I want. Will shop with them again.

I ordered contacts on Feb. 19th. The website said they were in stock & would be mailed as soon as prescription was verified. I just received an email saying that my contacts would be shipped on April 9. That is how long it took for my contacts to be shipped. In the meantime, I had to buy contacts from my doctor since I had run out. Also, I filed a report with the BBB and they really didn't help much. VisionDirect responded to me & said that there is a disclaimer at the bottom of the page that says the contacts could be on backorder, but it says in stock in large print in the middle of the same page. Obviously, they do not care about my business or about the BBB complaint because they did not email me or call me regarding the complaint. Since they do not care, I will take my business to 1800CONTACTS or another online store & recommend others to do the same.

I ordered before I read the reviews given above. They made me nervous. However, I ordered my lenses on Tuesday, faxed my rx on Wednesday, and recieved my lenses on Saturday. I was very pleased with the service. I also found it easier to use all the discounts listed .

I entered wrong information in the credit card screen. 5 minutes later I called cust service. They cancelled the order and we gave a new order. Later I got an auto-respond that it was too late to cancel. I called again and cust ser. cancelled it again. Later that day I got an auto-respond that it was too late to cancel one part of the order. I called cust serv again (3rd call). They cancelled the balance of the order, and I received an auto repond that it was too late to cancel that order. However, they also cancelled part of my new, corrected order. I called cust ser (#4 call). They cancelled the balance of my new order, leaving me at zero. What a mess!

I had no idea that a basic, common contact prescription would have to be ordered from the manufacturer. If I had known ahead of time, I would have made my purchase from another company. There is no reason to have to wait 10 days before an order is even shipped to me. I called customer service, to invesitage the issue, only to be told to watch for an email with shipping status. You should be aware that your prices are not that much different than other online contact companies. Therefore in the future I will take my business to someone who cares about me as a customer and is willling to provide good service.
